Hello guys,
It's been a while since I last played LS and I do have some questions:

1. How do I know if an item is an overspawn? Is there any table around showing max stats that can roll per tier?
2. Should I invest in better armor or weapon? Currently I am able to slash until level 30~ then I gotta reroll since my equipment is weak.
3. Regarding weapons: which one is the best to use for a newbie? I''ve been using axes since the min-max damage gap is smaller, making me land constant hits. Should I stick with it?

I am slowly making up some FGs by selling white and legendary+ items that I find during the gameplay and I'd hate to spend it with wrong equipment.

You should get to higher lvls to drop more higher lvl whites
The cheapest weapons are probably the best so either a club or a sword

2. Both when you can and a strength charm
3. Axes are great but tend to be expensive at higher lvls and of course higher ee (enhanced effect). Personally I like clubs because they are cheaper (but only feeder classes can use them)
4. Unless you play hardcore, I would keep your character at lvl 30? Or whatever is comfortable and continue dying off so you can find the mid lvl items that sell for 1-10 fg until you can afford the better gear.

While reading about LS I found something about Mob Chain Counter.
Is it possible for me to check such counter? Do you guys have any more info about it?

"Hacking and Slashing
You have two ways to achieve your climb up the main ladder, and each has their own addictive and fast paced styles. In single-player, one has the option of trying to kill as many monsters as fast as possible, with the Mob Chain Counter adding to your experience and drop percentages from monsters. That information is outdated and I believe it’s referring to the arena which no longer exists.
