1. Make whistling only work 5 times then you (and all members of your party) are required to move a tile. All objectives, traps, etc can be activated once you move.
2. Make a secret well that is much more difficult to find and has increased monster difficulty but every drop is equal to your character lvl. (This includes side drops).
3. Make secret treasure chests that turn into a sort of treasure pest upon opening and all drops are equal to character level.
4. Make an in town well just for fishing.

At least he makes a suggestion and doesn't use it as an outlet to be combative and rude to anyone with opposing ideas like you🤷‍♂️
Even if it's dumb and no one agrees.

Crazy to think you don't need to name call immediately in defense to a stupid suggestion!

I kind of like 1 or 3

3 reminds me of mimic chests in dark souls.
But the well used to be in town and I find that should
reimplemented for welling.
The discovery of wells and poofing of wells seems like a disheartening extra push back from the game,
With no reasonable point.
There's a fishing pond already in town. No need to overkill if not. For actually welling that is. But back in the day you could collect whites as a venue and just know you could well them whenever you wanted to...
Maps are the only guarantee now. And you still have to discover the well and hope it doesn't poof.

At least make wells permanent to a map. Even if it's harder to discover.

Which leads me to the #2, you would still have purpose in finding wells. Cuz it could be like discovering the evil presences well so to say.
Guaranteed monster level = to drops if it's a discovered well.

I think there's some good base behind some of these ideas. But there's also a lot of redundant factors behind them

The "In Town Well" could actually be different than the well in the Catacombs and be re-named to "Gambling Well" (I was going to call it Forging/Crafting Well since it is based on items alone and remove the fishing from it).

This could mean that the Well in town & catacomb have different mechanics, maybe drop quality and Events ONLY effect the Catacomb Well.

As for the "Chest" (Mimic), Ladder Slasher also had the chance of Monsters popping out of a found chest, this could be re-introduced. Fishing in the Catacomb Well could also have Monsters pop out when it has been nullified (destroyed) so this means you will know when it is destroyed, because your items will appear in your Drop box and all of a sudden there are a wave of monsters.

Again, two different Wells with different mechanics.

This is my normal feedback to posts that have some modicum of thought.

Perception, interpretation and opinion. Guess you are similar to me, but, I choose to challenge thinking, even if it is interpreted be combative, hostile or as an outlet (as you put it).

My goal was achieved, it made people go to the calculator, think about Swords that DO deal more DPS vs Axes and that Strength items are actually as good as Dexterity items.

Here is another thing that not many chose to look at:

Tier X Club 73 Strength / 0 Dexterity = 96.50 DPS (Average)
Tier X Axe 73 Strength / 0 Dexterity = 77.00 DPS (Average)
Meaning that Clubs have a MUCH higher DPS and using Strength... even if people are talking about "Critical Hit Chance" (Keyword: Chance, what % is it? Critical Strike is an addition to the % Chance to deal Double Damage) of Axes, and is it worthwhile, remember, people only allocate there points to the Damage STAT of that weapon.

Just thoughts... but goal was achieved to make people actually look.
