So, you should totally get some kind of reward for killing things fast. IE: one hitting an EP. Everytime ive quickly dropped an EP, you get absolutely no items. Most other games theres some sort of reward for being able to kill fast and easy.

Wheres the incentive for actually finishing a cata? 90% of the time i dont finish anything above a lvl 30 cata. Why? Because the map drops are stupid. Tier 1 map with +1 warm light. Heaven forbid you do a high level cata, 70+, and then boom tier 2 map with 50% warm light effectiveness. So why even finish them anyway?

I disagree. Easy to kill monsters in most games tend to not drop shit so why should this game be any different. I wouldn’t mind if objective monsters had a better drop rate since most of them you only get to kill one time and the objective is considered finished.

And while you might have had shîtty luck with completing catacombs, I’ve known many people (myself included) who have some amazing maps from doing them. Like everything in this game, it’s all a matter of luck.

in terms of map drops, i agree the minimum should possibly be increased based on your level, so at level 20, tier 1's no longer drop then every 5 or 10 levels the minimum drop increases 1 tier.

I think that generally maybe we should get more often events like better map quality.
Generally drops do tend to be good if you are patient and do it often soloing.
I agree the higher lvl you are exploring a map it should eradicate possibility atleast get lvl 0 maps and till lvl 15 maps.
What could also drop is like small chances for like a comfrey or fishing rods while exploring big maps.
But that's generally in the game already.
Maybe boost more maps drops ?
I will vote yes so Njaguar really makes game for us cool and worthy to explore atleast with higher chances for better maps :lol:
Something really has be improved so ladder slasher players don't explore large maps for a low map in end :mellow:

Same reward being the faster you kill, you get absolutely nothing? Anytime ive ever 1 or 2 hit an EP ive gotten ZERO drops. Im not talking about 0 high ee whatever, im talking about not a damn thing drops. lol And, off the top of my head FF comes into mind with some of their stuff.

But i see from the few votes that most people would rather not get any times when you kill fast, youd rather take forever killing something lol.

Yeah the map thing has always really bothered me. Doing a large cata should not result in a really low lvl map.

It is silly that it seems the longer u take to kill something, the better drops you get. I still haven’t decided if it’s because the monster was weak, so you get worse drops, or if it is more of a like your dmg be the monsters strength type of thing. I’m leaning towards the second one, where if you use worse gear you actually get better drops per monster, but takes a lot longer

I like the idea of quickness increasing drop rate. Kind of like ppl think happens with diablo.
But it would make 1-2 wave EPs become the new farming meta.
And heavies would become op.
Not saying names but I know a certian guardian player that could capitalize on this easily.


Edit: there are times I hit a quest (ambush for example) and realize the map is trash and start a new one just to reset quests After completing. Unlocking 4 corners seems more beneficial than finishing a map at level 60. In order to get a measley tier 1 warm light effectiveness map. So I agree with you finishing maps gets kind of mundane

I'm down with increasing the minimum tier of maps you get based on your current level (if you haven't used a map) or current tier of map you are on (if you have used a map).

And for me personally, it doesnt matter if I kill fast or kill slow because I dont get shit regardless :LOL: :rolleyes:

I purposefully hold skills against eps. Most of the time I get a decent amount of drops. The faster they die the worse items seem to spawn.
