Random question... but do different weapons have different attack speeds (which would affect dps)?

Only one set of items has a slower attack speed: Heavy weapons.

If you want to attack more you would need to invest in some quickdraw gear, but honestly its not really worth it.

LS is a bad "team game" unless you join a group that does 1-MQ climbs at a time, or whatever. Mostly I kill a few screens then AFK in town which would be a terrible experience in multi player.

that is why most teams travel with at least 1 healer so that won't be a problem. there is a such thing as regen gear to use to charge life or mana back up in town for less of a wait time to go back in and fight. I have something similiar to that of the hardcore ppl you can buy an item cheap here just post in thread.

Yeah, I stumbled upon a group once so far and it was great and a totally different experience from solo.

Im not sure why you are quoting me, but as a solo player, or a new player your access to these groups is limited.

it's not limited make a post to find a group or make one for a scheduled time to do so in the appropriate forum you will be surprised who might join and help. I have always joined such said groups new or elite players alike and there are some other ppl who will join those groups too which is why i always make my games accessible to all lvls not just the 5 lvls most new ppl make cause they don't entirely know the ins and outs of the game. you could always ask those ppl if you can tag along as a new person wanting to learn how to play. we have ppl here in the slasher community who are willing to help new ppl so don't look down on the elite players here because we all have one thing in common. every person has to have a day 1 start and learn how to play try asking around for some help.

You are speaking from what experience?

I have a guild that we all do our own thing. Maybe not once have ever done a group climb. We will play together. But we also work together to help each other skill and gather gear sets.
I also offer loaner gear to help..
You dont need to follow the meta to successfully play a game.
So to say it's a bad "team game"

They are limited if you don't have gear.
It's fairly simple to join someone willing to help and loan gear that also pays per guild point.
I think the true problem people run into is. The fact they want to pick up playing LS but aren't willing to join a guild that will help.

Unless you have Forum Gold. Playing LS solo is tuff. And no one wants to help or give gear to guilds that don't give a crap about the game
