If this is expected, my apologies - it seemed like either I am not understanding the context or potentially an and, if, or logic was not working the way I expected.
It seems as if searching for Fishing rods
"OR" items I can use, instead of fishing rods
"and" items I can use.
(Screenshots below for clarity)I was able to reproduce this with weapons, and armors so I believe the search is functioning this way holistically. This may just be me not understanding the checkbox, it seems its actually an option for "Show me items
my class can use" as it shows items outside your level/skill range. As this overrides the above dropdown I was just not expecting it lower on the menu than the subtype dropdown. Obviously this is incredibly low hanging fruit and impacts nobody, but just sharing my observations.
Repro steps:When you toggle on "show only what I can use" in the Market place search, it will display things outside of the subtype dropdown. It does not factor your level, or skill when filtering items on screen. (Player level requirement, or skill level requirement (fishing))
TLDR Suggestions: Remove the checkbox for "only show items I can use" and:
- Create a new dropdown value for the sub-type dropdown list for "only show items my class can use".
- Create a new dropdown value for the sub-type dropdown list for "only show items I can use" - This new value will only display items that meet the level/skill requirement of the searching character
