The last Prof Comp by Bigheaded was quite good. Keeping my own personal comments out of the Poll, who enjoyed it from a Newbie concept. No point people with the last 3+ years responding... you are not Newbies.

I will ask questions later on if you want to post.

EDIT: type-O on the heading... "Last" NOT "Lase"

not my fault you didn't see the topic for the entire of like end of november thru till the 24th of dec. Was clearly made available to everyone and bumped pretty regularly.
Kind of a shame to me a lot of people who were active didn't participate but it also meant i had less work to do so didn't complain too loudly lol.

Too early for me to run anything myself atm. might consider it in july, but most likely either not bother or do something in december again.
Took a pretty reasonable amount of my time to deal with it, however i'd do something else rather than prof i think.

I'll probably do something drop related such as highest +stat item found and highest EE item found, can use the item history link to prove it dropped after the competition started.
Again would favour people whom are more active but still everyone should be able to participate. Would hopefully lead to a chattier topic as well of people spamming all their drops.

Actually before his competition, I put up a "Suggestion" thread for a "Prof Comp" before that competition which I was going to run (I would have done it differently), but was pipped by his, and yes, I am thinking of running one, but with more information and different setup of rules.

Good idea, but personally I would have two sections:

Solo
Group

Reasoning is because of the Drop Rate significantly increases your chances to find those types of items in a Group run in comparison to Solo. The other condition would be within a certain number of Master Quests.

i.e. Complete Two(2) Master Quests and post the item(s) found with the Highest Enhanced Effect and Stats (Str/Dex/Vit/Int).

This way everyone can compete and win by pure luck in each type of Run.

This is just an idea, not a debate on what you would do for your competition if you were to proceed with it, we need more competitions like the old days.

Don't really see group runners getting much, can run literally 50 runs and not get a single 100ee item, i'd be extremely surprised if whilst exploring in 50 hours that you wouldn't find something with 100+ee, this is excluding any breaks and only includes the amount of time spent killing mobs.
However if there was a competition running it "could" encourage more explore climbs and some decent stuff has been found during those.

Wouldnt do it by MQ's unless you limited the number of deaths otherwise death farming will happen for SC.

Anyway to go back to your original question for new players joining in, i'll put it this way, i don't think new players will in general post here unfortunately. In general most new players seem to avoid the forums and attempt to buy everything off the marketplace which is unfortunate as they keep getting ripped off as marketplace prices are overpriced.
