What's the learning curve like on this game, and is it viable to make FG playing this in your first month or two of learning? Kinda curious. The game looks like a charming early 2000s flash game, figure I could probably get into it. Just wondering how viable it is to actually make FG from the game. Anyone got any tips for a newbie?

If you spend a bunch of fg on good items, you might can find some good stuff. But mostly the easiest way to earn fg on here is skilling for fishing/cooking and selling those, muting, or picking up cheap ass skillable items and selling them. But you might get lucky and find an expensive item.

It depends on your play style, how much time will you invest in the game, if you plan on spending fg to make it easier to progress and faster or if you prefer to grind it out and only buy from the fg you make off items you sell.

3 ways to make fg here:
1. Find stuff sell what you find whatever doesn’t sell goes to the trash.
2. Watch the market like the stock market: buy low sell high.
3. Watch the threads and see if you can get a good deal then try to sell that item for higher price in the market.

I play D2 to support my LS. Though you may do well if lucky.

I've sold 142 items so far this month for a total of 182 fg. I've spent 200 fg on my vault for 100 storage slots and 650 fg on 2 items, so I'm in the hole for ~680 fg despite playing ~5 hours a day. And this is a good month for me.

As a new guy if you plan to just solo grind for fg, you don’t need a vault and you can buy a a starter word set and gear for less than 500 fg that will get you to mq through the first 3 chars. You get at least 50 fg per mq and find skills MES you can sell for 50-100 fg per mq.

Every once in a while you find a good item worth a few hundred fg and if the conspiracy is true, as a new guy you’re good for 1-2 insane items that you can sell for a couple thousand fg.

1. Know the value of your items and/or ask if you are uncertain. You might be surprised to learn that some of those items you sold for 1-19 fg might have been worth more than that.

2. Build other characters and use them as mules to carry your items for free. You can transfer items from one character to another easily and for free and vice versa. You don’t need a vault unless you plan on constantly leveling during the day (like in a whistle climb) and even then you only need every 10 lvls if your items are decent.

3. LS has decent resale value on items you purchased (unless you got ripped off) so when you’re ready to sell those items that you bought earlier you will probably get close to your fg back.

4. The higher lvls tend to drop the better items which in turn sell for higher. Personally I like to park at lvl 55-65 and just sell everything lvl 45 and up that I find.

Lmao, I love all the tips but I've been playin LS for 13 years. The items I sold were 1fg mutes. I was simply explaining to a new player what he is in store for if he is simply looking to make fg off this beautiful game. The odds of finding that 500+ fg item are very slim. Combined with the slow rate of climb for a newer player or a player like me who hasn't invested in the game as much as others, make it very unlikely for a new player to make fg off this game. That being said, you can climb and sell every mute for 1 fg and probably get 300 to 400 fg a month in literally that. On top of that, you can sell wells for more fg. So 500+ income a month is very feasible.
