As a HC player myself ive felt the pain as im sure most have. ( i ripped 2x best in game items quite a few years ago accidentally). We ALL too well know the pain involved in a RIP... Be it accidental, or jsp/ cloudflare related. it can and has caused some to rage and quit, for some of the rest of us we go through the arboreous journey to try and find replacement gear if we don't already have some stashed away on a mule for this specific reason.

my idea in simplest terms.



if anyones' character that has passed beyond monk/ninja and has more than 1,000,000 kills RIPs,



OPTION A:
a random perfect enhanced effect or stat item drops to the closest active player online according to the closest active players tier/level played at that time. this item would also have the RIP'd characters name included in its title.

as an example: a robe i grabbed from one of my mules at random, and changed the EE on it..

Physical Defense: xx to xxx
Magical Defense: xx to xxx

+220% Enhanced Effect
+1% Parry
+2% Critical Flux
+1% Physical Damage Reduction

OR..

OPTION B:
Have an item that was on the said character that RIPd respawn as the item drop with everything else listed above.

eg; using the same robe i randomly grabbed from one of my mules.

the idea is rough. but i thought of this while remembering and trying to remember some old HC players that have since left. due to RIPs.

I wish there was a global announcement when someone above feeder ripped. That way it couldnt be spammed by noobs dying on lvl 1s

i rip the most here, it sucks but pretty immune to it. its a neat idea but no.

As for the suggestion, no to items respawning because identical ones can already spawn... however, with my last RIP, jesse made me a Headstone... maybe there should be a Cemetery showing the Headstones of all RIP'd characters and their Gear with the date created and expired and maybe Ranks (Note: these remain even after you delete that character.).

Basically a monument to either misfortune, stupidity or just plain old too wasted and went to the bathroom in full group taking on 4 corners while being the only healer in the group... yup, my stupidity while intoxicated but had another Guardian to continue the climb with spare gear.
