I'm completely new to LS. I think I made my first mistake just by picking mage as my first character but oh well
Few questions that I have:
I've been using fire charms and my proficiency was at 82%+ and then it went down to 40ish. Why?
Is there any way to reset labirynth? I got swarmed by some robot dude who cloned himself 30 times and I couldnt kill him.
What am I looking for in my weapon and armor stats wise?
What is the purpose of additional charm slot? Seems like it doesnt give you stats from the items you put there.
Should I go for MQ or leave my character at high level and just keep farming items so I can afford better gear? (50 fg budget atm XD)

What is the purpose of additional charm slot? Seems like it doesnt give you stats from the items you put there. - only EE works in acc slot, as a mage you want a heal in that slot with as much EE as you can get
Should I go for MQ or leave my character at high level and just keep farming items so I can afford better gear? (50 fg budget atm XD) - farming at high level with bad gear is going to be difficult i imagine, if it were me i'd just reclimb and try to advance classes and gear will come

prof drops every time you die on sc. so seeing you have 35 deaths on your primary char, youve lost a lot of prof overall.

to reset the map if going solo, go to town, press F and create a game, then press F again and leave game.. tada, map reset. otherwise, complete the map as intended and then go to town at the end of it, at that point it will reset.

there are a few monsters that have a duplicate/clone ability. on mage it can be quite dangerous at higher levels.

additional charm slot is typically used for a heal charm for most.

as for wether to just go for mq or not.. thats solely your decision. there are guilds that purchase your guild point earned on a pass/fail. so my suggestion is to stack a few chars at mq ready to go, find a guild that will pay, and then use those funds to upgrade your gear.

I bought some dagger with magic find hoping to get some items but seems like +3 magic find is... heh... not ideal
Okay, dying is bad. Noted. Damn I wasted a lot of time then.
Yeah even at my level clearing entire labirynth takes ages. I have to wait for my HP to regen every few mobs kills... lol. I bought staff with +10 hp regen and I swap it every time I'm close to dying xd

sc is probably still the safer bet, if you die on HC; you not only loose your character, but all the gear that was on it. HC requires ZERO deaths period. so when most RIP on HC, its typically a big deal.

yeah I die a lot cos I switch tabs and forget about LS :< I'm also greeding a lot:P How much can I get for Master Quest fail/pass? thanks for your replies guys

nah it doesn't affect primary charm dmg, only EE works in the acc slot at 75% effectiveness, it's almost exclusively used for heal charms

Oh I got excited cos I thought it'd boost my dmg. Oh well, I'll try to level my mage and run some labirynths and if it takes ages to kill mobs I'll jkust attempt MQ. Thanks guys.

Is it worth to go for full labirynth clears? You get those maps with affixes for clearing entire thing but drops there seem to be worse than from normal labirynth.

sometimes you can get some pretty sweet maps that will sell for a lot, if i was trying to make fg i'd probably go for completing the maze for maps

kinda depends on how bullshit the map is and how much you have to backtrack, because you want to maximize the EPs you hit and you can't hit EPs on areas of the map you have already covered

Yeah I did a full clear today. It took me… like 3 hours, lol. And then I didn’t click map fast enough cos I was reading affixes and it disappeared
