I was just thinking, after seeing a post that someone had been asking about the old images of the ls chars. that it would be kind of cool if paul #njaguar would have a random thursday he reset the gfx overlay to display the oldschool (original LS) display.


the layout and gfx in LS has changed a lot since i started ( i think 3 times now); but i did have the opportunity to play the oldschool original for about a week before season 1 hc reset ( where pvp arena and well were located in town)


would you be on board if it were only for one random thursday a month this oldschool concept was returned? maybe for a sign up fee include the pvp arena again?

Novel idea. If it was just a graphic overlay, I doubt you could use the Arena. If you were thinking of implementing for that day with old coding could mess up the update (0.09% chance this would happen I'd think).

Graphic wise, sure why not.

If it were as easy as clicking a button. But the coding has changed so much this just isn’t plausible, nor beneficial enough to actually put in the work.

I do like the idea though.

Maybe we should have a Santa themed day or week where all characters wear Christmas stuff (one holding a candy cane, one wearing an elf hat, one in Santa gear, etc…) and/or maybe a Halloween version? Maybe if it’s not too difficult to code would be interesting I think….

This is my attitude towards most proposed changes. They take work and offer nothing of value beyond a momentary novelty.

I really miss the old character designs tbh. Anything showcasing them once again I am a fan of.

Now this is why the suggestion of having the OPTION to apply "Skins" (cost or no cost FG wise) from some people SHOULD have been implemented a decade ago.

EDIT: in reality, I am just making a fool out of myself which is better than the fool that takes it upon themselves. It is a quandary is it not?
