currently im level 2 prof in fishing. at which level should i switch to tier 2 rods? at level 5 prof?

and durability rods snap after one fail.. but its definitely worth investing into durability rods right?

I usually use the tier at or 1 above my fishing rank.

Example: Fishing rank 15, I use tier 4 or 5

To answer your question, yes, use tier 2 at level 5 prof.

Yes, durability will decrease after a fail, it shouldn’t snap the rod if you have higher durability on them. You must be using ones with 0-12 durability

ahhh so it just lwoers dura if you fail. if you have high enough on the rod.. very nice
are rods expensive? no tier 2s on market at all

Typically the lower tier ones aren’t bad.
Usually you can get a T1 or T2 with close to perfect durability (25 and 50 respectively) for 20-50 fg each.
A general rule of thumb is 1 fg per durability.
