#1: Pay a fee (either core) to resurrect a dead character keeping their "Prof Ranks" intact upon death. BUT, they lose the items they are wielding.
#2: The Fee has to be paid within 48 hours of their Death AND the character has NOT BEEN DELETED (Hardcore specifically).


Okay... for HC, it is a death + loss of gear, as for SC it is death & loss of gear but they keep their Prof ranks.

Personally... I would like more constructive criticism to this idea versus just a simple "NO / Hell NO" vote, think about it, with the introduction of D2R and other games with "Seasonal" platform(s). We (single game players) can NOT make funds to complete with other players playing Ladder Slasher while making forum gold on other games. (Note: this is the only online game I play other than Facebook Slots or playing Solitaire/Chess/Minsweeper etc on my PC). No competition for this 15+ year old game on JSP site.

So many changes to character(s) limit and nefs to HUNT for items etc has made this game a chance game to finding drops. (Note: when playing, your only attention is to this game, other games like D2 you can use bots to play while playing this game... think about it)

EDIT: nulled my vote as I see either benefit(s) for either core depending on the player and their play style!

So essentially you want to remove the hardcore aspect from hc and add them to sc?

Have you even considered those of us who farm for items at lvl 55 or 65 and purposefully die to maintain the same level? This idea would make more people rage quit

Not sure... HC your loss is Character + Proficiency + Items. Now for SC the ONLY lose is a % of Experience & Proficiency, but you keep your GODLY gear to continue.





Simply put.. for SC... it means jack shit for a death because your godly gear does NOT DISAPPEAR... only Prof / Exp count, that is why you can FARM on SC using the "DEATH FARMING" crap while using ML gear and your gear remains. It is not rocket science or brain surgery... SC does NOT LOSE items... AND IF you realised... the option is ONLY available to those that will pay a fee and lose the items FOR SOFTCOCK PLAYERS... it is OPTIONAL.

FUCKING OPTIONAL FOR SOFTCOCK PLAYERS... 48 Hour limit.


How about you lot start by opening your EYES and READING it more... OR are you all on crack... even those voting without a post... DANG... 50+ years later, NOBODY on this site actually has a reading skill above entrance level.

EDIT: for late comers... #2 explains the 48 hours etc... it is optional and you DON'T have to comply within that time by just playing that character within the 48 hours which nullifies the effect.

Let me get this straight….so let’s say I die on softcore while farming and then my angry wife (or maybe angry mom for others on here) decides to take the phone away or restrict internet access whatever, with your idea if I don’t pay a fee in 48 hours or whatever time limit, then I lose all my experience and/or all my gear? If this the case then once again I vote no
