These could be super rare and based on incoming fee from marketplace sales
For example, there could be a "storage bank" of fg accumulated from all market sales
This could be randomly distributed via treasure chests, equally if in a group.

or another option is to have it based on how much in market fees you pay. you could get a percentage of that back

the mp sales are minuscule compared to the donate for me and star upgrade fg brought in
one $100 star upgrade is equal to about 20,000 fg in sales (no clue if this is right)

Or make it the "Final Chest" in Maps to have a "Rare" chance for fg to drop.

This way more map runs will be done. Could also have a Minimum / Maximum of FG to drop based on Tier of Map completed; following is only an example.

Tier I - IV = 1-2 fg per person.
Tier V - VIII = 1-3 fg per person.
Tier IX - XI = 1-4 fg per person.
Tier XII = XIV = 2-6 fg per person.

Only game I’ve played where the main currency can’t be found in game and must be brought in from an outside source. Yes I’m aware you can start from nothing but someone had to bring in fg from outside the game at some point.

Like you say…it’s been rejected numerous times…..

Besides there are numerous items at almost every lvl that you can sell for fg. So I voted no
