Is there a more convenient way to disengage from combat when on mobile?
Or even better yet an automatic disengage option?

Master quest is basically the same every class. U just gotta pass it to get the next. I find clicking on the move front to back arrows actually can disengage fighting. Or only clicking once on a door

You click on the spell icon, then click on the enemy to attack using the selected skill, then click back onto normal attack. Thats how I've been doing it
