I just started playing LS recently, I am level 35 and I was breezing through the game until this point.

I am stuck fighting this enemy who just keeps duplicating himself - I have decent armor that sorbs 80-95% of most physical damage and a good weapon, but I just can't kill them as fast as they duplicate.

is there any quick method to clearing this enemy? should I be stacking magic defense or something? any help would be appreciated.

if you don't mind losing how far you've gotten, go to town, create a group, then immediately disband the group. This will keep any glyphs you have running and reset the map to unexplored.

if you absolutely must win two choices:
1, request help here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=274
2. kill all the mobs which can heal each other, then weaken every single mob without killing them down to 10% or less health, then once this is done, kill them all.


If you have a group up, i can assist and kill em all now. Will have a look for a group

thanks.. i went half with what you said and used a special map to replace the one i had up.. bummer but it beats this death loop.. i appreciate ur advice and willingness to help, thank you

yea those guys suck when they dupe up to 9..you gotta kill them 1st when they spawn

you should also get a str charm, the one you are using is kinda bad. This one is good for 20 fg on marketplace, its level 25 so you can use now

Yes but then your whole character rerolls to lvl 1 (but you still keep all your gear)

you could reroll back to level 1 but i wouldnt
it looks like you put stats into dex, just buy some axes there are a few on mp fairly cheap
get 35 leather
then you can stat either str or dex with axes

Go to town. Pull up the group menu. Create group. Leave group.

You now have a new catacombs. It sucks, especially if close to finished exploring, or in a map. But it resolves the issue, NN die.

Other alternative is to post a topic requesting help. I, for one, would be happy to help in such a scenario, assuming I have a character at a level capable.
