I was looking for some way to kill time before D2R and started slashing, im on day 3 and i just hit lvl 50.

I've been following a character guide for magician but my question is as followed:

1. Best way to 'MF'? and grind items? I read something about getting to 55 and then dying so you don't level past that?

My gear is pretty bad at the moment so Idk if ill even make it to lvl 55 at this rate, i get roughly 5-10% xp before having to shrine, i went 45 in vitality and then the rest into int.

2. Fuck the trap doors that pop after im about to finish a layout in the catacombs.

Just bought a new charm to help things out, seems abit faster now

Find a group/alliance is a good benefits..
Depending of the events its helpful to do explore..
You can do /whistle 1 and then whistle cast heal then after re-explore to beat more monsters before shrining..

You have 170k. You have more than enough to invest in some decent 100 ee armor and weapon to help you get to lvl 71

2. Don’t like trap doors? Make a rogue and you will never go down a trap door again (unless you want to go down it)

is 71 the level you need to climb?

You can go to lvl 110? I think if you want but lvl 71 is where you get master quest. I won’t go into details you can discover that one yourself….

does any level after 55 increase ur chances of better gear? or is 55 and 60 the same for example?

Items with magic luck “increase” your odds. I use quotation marks here because some people believe it benefits and others believe it’s a useless stat.

Same with lvls. Some swear that lvl 100 gets better gear than lvl 55,60 whatever and others don’t…..

I will say that the monsters do get more difficult as you level and the maps get larger

in game in chat logs you can do many things like
/set easy 1 (it gonna put easy mode )
/whistle 1 (it will put monster lvl 1) this way you can cast heal without getting much damage..
and regen safer
