More about if you can take the hits in between your attacks.
Any heavies with quick draw helps solve it

Normal weapons hit more often meaning you charge abilities faster. Also I could be wrong on this but heavies have higher base damage which I would think would make enhanced effect on them scale damage higher.
Delay for heavy weapons is 1,5 when I'm not mistaken. The problem in group climbs is, that you are never allowed to attack the last monsters, otherwise you got a delay at the next wave and can't use your ability correctly
When it comes to quick draw it's Amazing as a side mod, but not worth dropping statts for it Imo. The nice addition to it is, that when you kill a monster with a hit QD will "cancel" the delay and you will be able to attack a different monster instantly, this works works with normal weapons as well.
The down side is, that "charges with weapon" abilities stack slower with heavys, the food thing is "charges with hit taken" ability charge the same as with normal weapons but due to the higher base damage on Heavys you will deal ALOT more damage
TY to my awesome pass rate on Pali I was able to do some damage testing this season. Multi + a "non deep red" ability (so revenge until HH) still seems to give you the highest damage numbers.
