You can sell white items for welling now. So you can get some fg that will help you start out. I have a chart in my profile to give you ideas of prices.

You 100% definitely could not.
And there is a lot of changes.
No well in town now you can only find it in catacombs and it can break randomly, new quests, higher levels to mq and a lot more.

well, i think you are in the right there. altough you could sell an item with any affix for 1fg? if this was never possible please correct me again. Sellin shit gear for 1fg was my life for weeks until i got my first leveling gear ...

And yes, right from day one you could sell anything magical+ for 1+ fg. You're remembering that part correctly.

I think much of Horadric_Pube's point was that you have a lot of whites on your characters. With the ability to sell wellables, a lot of them, especially higher level whites, can sell upwards of 100fg each.
