I want to get in on this :X

From what I understand:

1. Do 3 man cata/maps for 7 shamans
2. Search 30 hours for Elemental Education with 3 people
3. Search and spawn NMNM and kill almost all EPs and leave the last wave alive.
4. Repeat step 3

I don’t have the time to do any of that so I might be wrong.

EE is more rng... I found it already in less than an 1h but also didnt found it after 5maps, hototter ( or something like that ) said he did way over 10 maps in 3 man and didnt found... some from AD tried to search it this season aswell and the span started aroudn 1h till 30h or so...


my advice would be since it feeld faster ... GET 5 PLAYER since 7 ep wave is easier to spawn with more player IMO

Why it should be ever a good idea to increase the variation of EP waves when you wanna find one specific?

well i never tested it, but i think monster per waves arent random, if you solo it feels you find more 2 monster waves compared to 1 or 3.. same i think its working on bigger groups....

when you play with 3 player the maximum per wave is 7 so you are looking for the lower end on spawnrates... while in a 5 man group the avg monster count is around 6-7

but also said its more like a feeling i never tested it, if its true or not


in the end its probably rng anyways... but i always run with 5 man groups and found ee in less than 6h of playtime, while other searched for ee in 3 man groups and searched for 10-30h

We had a 4 man group searched for 8 hours and nothing fyi

Actually I haven't tested it either but I think this is a reasonable guess. On the one hand, I think you will have a better chance of the right number of EPs spawning for EE... On the other hand, it will take longer to clear, especially if you have to spend more time dying and/or the extra people are sitting in town rather than helping kill.



Um... lol I think my average time to find EE is like 3 weeks of searching
