basically spam level 1-10 with a rogue until you find a well map, sell the well map then you have ~50-200 fg.

Use said fg to buy semi acceptable items. Usually faster than attempting to do 1-71 in one go at 0 fg unless you get gear donations (not uncommon, people will often sell 40-80ee weapons/armors for 1-5 fg)
