I chose #1

#1 Remove white rods completely and make all Dropped rods have Durability.
#2 Or be able to well the white rods.

EDIT: for laughs I was going to add in "Yes to both options", but then if all rods dropped with durability, you could not well them anyway.

Every time someone votes in a izparagonzi poll, the world loses a bunny.

Let’s not lose any more cute and cuddly bunnies.

In that case I would like to vote a few more times.

Honestly this is not a dumb suggestion though. Why do plain rods even drop? All rods should have some kind of durability. Wouldn’t mind seeing different adds to rods as well in the future.

No to both.

As it stands now, rods slowly lose durability over time and before the last break then they seem to usually turn white or wellable. So if they become wellable then you would literally have an endless supply of rods. That would be neat and all, but too easy mode.

If anything needs to be addressed with fishing, it needs to be the amount of fish you catch. Literally after a certain point, you do even have space for both the basic life and mana fish even after you fish in the well and get some lower tiers removed.

Either if you fishing for certain level of fish you cant catch fish a few tiers below or have an auto dump like a catch and release fish where if a fish does not meet your standards or what your looking for (you set your own parameters based on Tier level / %life/mana) it goes straight back into the pond to give you that space back.

That would alleviate the majority if not all the problems with Fishing.

But been posting that for around 10 years and I have sent multiple PM's to Paul over the decade about random ideas that would be a betterment to the community but the only time he has replied was when I possibly found a bug.

I understand your points as I have read a lot of suggestions over the 10+ years regarding Fishing and Item Slot space.

The reason why I made this suggestion is actually based on the update where the rods durability does decline (as you mentioned), and on another note (if I remember correctly), when you are fishing, you can use "Training Rods", thus White rods of equal tier vs Trainee rods... what is the difference really? Or am I missing something here? Are the trainee rods only Tier I or are they set by the level you choose when fishing?

Hope this makes sense, and I also agree with you that Item Slots need improvising, but I also believe since you can stack 200 fish in 1 slot, you have a better deal when it comes to Maps which can NOT stack.

The "Training Rods" is not really a thing. That is only good for from Skill Rank 1 to ~3, after that it does no good. Its meant just to be able to start fishing and not used to really rank up.

Yes you can stack up xxxx amount of fish, but in the same breath you have 16 items slots, 14 tiers of fish + 1 rod +1 fish (that you currently catch before auto-stack) That literally takes up all the item slots. And that assuming you stack ALL same tier fish together regardless of if either life or mana or both (rare fish). Good luck managing all that within a half way decent amount of time/energy.

Once again, I understand the predicament of "stacking" based on tier level of fish (whether it be life/mana or rare life + mana)... with that said alone, are you annoyed that you have 16 items slots allocated per character you have? ... as an example, a mule that have 16 item slots can CAN hold upto to 100+ sardines per Item slot... in reference to this comment even though the MULE doesn't have the fishing skill can store this amount is phenomenally GREAT in comparison to other items like Glyphs or Maps?... yup you can continue to debate Essences which are stacked like fish, but then that only compliments other avenues the game should EVOLVE to make it beneficial for ALL types of players PREFERENCE.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong and think I am debating your way of thinking, I have only pointed out the facts about other game mechanics in comparison.
