If I remember correctly, someone has the formula to work out the base defense of Armor type with Stats (Intelligence / Vitality). So does anyone have this formula? Note: excludes Enhanced Effect since this should be the last part of the formula.

For the inquisitive and those that want to dog me more.

Simply put, based on stats alone (Int/Vita):
Guardian has the best DEFENSE using Heavy Armor (110 total Vita/Int)
Paladin has the best DEFENSE using Medium Armor (75 total Vita/Int)
Alchemist has the best DEFENSE using Light Armor (125 total Vita/Int)

Headhunter fails in both Light & Medium Armor Defense.

Remember... formula for Base item defense with stats only.

Umm Rex, the guardian has no other option so obviously it’s best with heavy armors...

Simple answer: No feeder, Samurai or Paladin (Heavy Armor class) has better defense vs a Guardian. What is your point? I simply asked for the formula to BASE item armor types using stats... do you know the formula? No... oh then your post is irrelevant once again.



I admire this post... issue is, we don't have "encumbrance" issues in the game mechanics, so your post is also irrelevant, but definitely amusing.

what drugs are you both on? we have no heavy armors in ladder slasher, otherwise we would walk slower?! call them as it is for no mistakes around, chain/plates! lucky nr. 13 has spoken

I know I dont have the actual formula written anywhere but, I worked out the formula for caster charms before. Just takes some simple math and a look at the actual base values of armors without stats applied (found in the LS portal). Im sure you can find the info you are looking for with under 30minutes of math work.

Cheeya wants to help, then declines because my post is based on replies by Cheeya and yet tries to come up with some "indecency" clause to not answering the initial post... damn... whom approached whom with a "smidge of class" to get a proper reply? Not Cheeya, because he could have chosen to answer the initial question instead of pointing out the flaws of the so called Guardian that has better fucking defense comparison to a Paladin... unlocked character, and NO other class has 110 base defense starting stats other than a Warlock or Alchemist.
