Minor update suggestion.

Make it so we can drag gear to the already existing Hotkeyed slots (which presently can only be assigned to consumables)



Makes any gear swap potentially slightly faster and easier. Regen gear, Luck gear, Healing Gear, Handling Immunes

Helps market by making those types of limited situation items more appealing

This would mostly appeal to soloists and goofballs like death farmers, but can still be used in group catas to swap fresh gear after level ups slightly faster than with a mouse (remember you can have up to 9 hotkeyed slots atm) just preassign the keys then the moment you level up 1,2,3 presto fresh gear.

edit : Two things

1) Yes there could be something even better/more featured idea than this instituted at some point. (Like press Shift and Q to swap your wep with your alternate wep)
This just seems like it would be easy to add and used to some extent.

2) Question for anyone against the idea. Is there any reason you think this would be a bad idea? or you just think you would not bother to use it?

I am confused here.

I solo using EES gear on my character(s) in the first 3 slots organised by Weapon / Armor / Charm (main slot), now, when I have a full Vault (which I just bought for testing purposes outside of this thread) I can tell you directly over the last 10+ years of doing this, it works... now, if I was using +Life/mana regen gear on top of this, I would put those items in the next 3 slots (inventory).

So, the first 3 slots with EES gear, and the next 3 slots with Regen gear... those 6 slots in this scenario will NOT change position(s) out of 10+ equipment slots.

What do you want me to vote on, because I am subjugated to NO unless you can explain how this helps or benefit players in more detail.

Something is defi8nitely strange here, because I am just as confused as Rex, and for once, it is not his fault.

So like many you actively swap gear as you play (Present options Click+ Drag or Ctrl + Click) this just gives you a 3rd option of a single key and no mouse/trackpad input which is faster/easier.



I am not explaining the idea well?
Or it is not an appealing idea?
I can dummy up some graphics tomorrow.

Hmm, "CTRL+Click" to swap gear from inventory to Equipping (this is instant instead of Drag n Drop) and requires NO DELAY in swapping out gear.

What is your point of your post? I do exactly what you want in 1 click action, how can you come up with something that is faster than 1 click action etc????

Again, I am confused as fuck here... explain to me how 1 click action is NOT faster than what you are proposing?????????????????????????????????????????

EDIT: oh... if your argument is based on Hotkey... you still have to 1 click that hotkey to ensure it happens... basically the same shit and "CTRL+Click" the item in your inventory... 1 click action etc



funny thing is, it is NOT faster, it takes the same time to click either Hotkey or CTRL+click that item for switching purposes.

its really good explained it, not very much faster than the way i use and i will never use the way with hotkeys but i vote yes.
