The /set easy 1 command = 1-2 Normal Monsters & 1 Evil Presence monster to appear during level 1-71.
After level 71, you will now encounter 1-3 Normal Monsters & 1-3 Evil Presence with 1.32 Update (check update notes or posts from Paul during the 1.32 Beta testing)

Idea/Suggestion: When using the /set easy 1 command while using an UNLOCKED character SOLO'ing, the LEVEL requirement is also increased by 2 levels per unlocked level to complete their Master Quest, example(s) below;

Lvl 73 Samurai
Lvl 75 Paladin
Lvl 77 Monk
Lvl 79 Ninja
Lvl 81 Warlock
Lvl 83 Headhunter
Lvl 85 Alchemist

Now, if solo'ing with a Warlock and using the /set easy 1 command, you will ONLY encounter 1-2 Normal Monster or 1 Evil Presence up to level 81.

I would love this. Was disappointed when I came back and saw the MQ levels increased and this didn't work for them. Sammy was a tough grid for me. I believe I did Pally once last season and ended up saving that for group climbs.

Personally I tried 6 times to write up something that Paul could try and comprehend the effect, and I had to EDIT / DELETE the post(s), basically, PAUL will NEVER understand UNLESS he actually PLAYS the game he created with UNLOCKED characters SOLO'ing with NOTHING above 100% EE.

Basically PAUL does NOT even KNOW the AFFECT of the COMMAND(s) of SOLO playing HIS own GAME after UNLOCKING character CLASSES.

Voted no. Not necessary. Just farm on feeder until you can afford better items. I climb on ninja solo with a weak 140 ee sword. It’s slow at higher levels but the game shouldn’t be easy with bad gear. Would make it a joke with good gear.

In every game you should have to work to be able to do something easily.

Here is a question for you ToughGuy_TJ. How do you know that Paul understands it completely when he HASN'T any unlocked character class ON HARDCORE? His ONLY hardcore character is a fucking BARBARIAN.

EDIT 2: Basically, there isn't any way a "robed" character class (Monk / Ninja / Alchemist) can HEAL significantly in comparison to the DAMAGE they take during levels 77 / 85 or to 101.



Paul has taken a ton of information and implemented a lot of changes to LS that helps. This is not a denial why my reasons of my post, even though the game is MORE for GROUP playing, there has to be some content to appease a SOLO player.

As for myself, this game is easy to play as a solo'er since it was introduced... but... do NOT excluded either play style for a GREAT game that Ladder Slasher can be.

It’s funny that you actually believe he cares whether he has tested it or not. At the end of the day he stated it is working as he intended. He will not change it and if you complain you are more than likely to get it taken away altogether as he threatened in the past. But yeah maybe try a 7th and 8th time and send him a few more pms... I’m sure it will totally work!!! Hell you may get a Rex mode that just consists of 9 mob stun eps any time you enter.
