I was just wondering how I can stack the fish I catch. I seem to only be able to hold 16 (the number of slots in my inventory for items of this category). I saw people selling fish in stacks, so I was just wondering how to accomplish that. I searched the beginner guides, but I didn't find anything on it.

Also, what are the most valuable fish, and is it worth cooking them to increase their value to sell on the market? Sorry, I know I'm a newb

to prevent those kind questions in the main forum, its usually a good idea to find a mentor, can be in a guild or in the group you slashing.

valuable fishes are those you think they are for you!

max life or mana each tier is 100, tier1 =100, tier2 =200 and so on

max stackable at level zero is 40, it grows up when you get ranks in fishing and/or cooking!

and yes its a pretty good idea to cook them!

Under the settings tab, you can create an auto sort. Choose a % you'd like to sort - 55% would be 55 life and higher for sardines, as their max is 100. If you plan on selling for some reason, I'd recommend auto sorting at 70 or 75% or higher.

I usually let it sort higher ones and make my own "trash" pile of fish to cook for proficiency and throw away. You can look at my main character and kind of see how I do it

Not exactly. Setting autostack to 55 will stack sardines that are 66 life and higher for an average stack heal of approx 83 life

As stated by others... either tier fish maximum is 100 life &/or Mana.
Cook the crappy ones that are like under 60% max total so your cooking skill is good enough to guarantee a 100 (life/mana) sardine is cooked at 100% = 200 (life/mana)

I have not suffesensed, but you maybe able to suffusense crap fish to build up this skill also.

I don't know what you want to get out of playing this game, maybe skill fish / cooking to sell off or use... maybe the fish are for getting more fg for gear, all of it takes time, so how you use that time, is up to you, good luck with your gaming.

I was just curious if there is a trick to fishing. What does the exclamation mark on the right side of the fishing box mean? does that mean I'm reeling too fast or something?
