If this idea has been considered in the past then delete this:

Noticed when I tried to sell an armor it said I had too many items in the market. Was wondering if it would be a good idea to have additional market slots to sell more items for 30 days (for perhaps same 50 fg fee or more)

You can sell as many >20 fg items as you want, but the limit just applies to less than <20fg. The reason being people would clog the market with hundreds of 1fg items that never sell and jsp wouldnt get their cut from the fee

I doubt anyone is going to pay a monthly fee just to have the privilege of populating the MP with 1 fg items that will never sell. In the off chance someone does pay the monthly fee to put up 1 fg items that never sell then jsp will get that monthly fee whereas it wouldn't have gotten anything otherwise. 50 FG/month would be the equivalent of the fee from 1000x 1 FG items selling. So if your concern is that jsp doesn't get its cut then that wouldn't be true, in fact, if someone does pay the monthly fee it is likely because they are finding many items they believe they would sell so on top of that monthly fee jsp would get the item fee as well from the items that sell that would have been shrined otherwise. To be honest, our concern really shouldn't be that jsp gets its cut, but rather, if the idea would be good for the longevity and health of the game and vote based on that. Paul's the one to decide if the fees are a concern.

Having the market clogged up with 1 fg items or items <20 fg really shouldn't be an issue. You can pick what you search for in the market to filter out the items useless for you.

I'd be one to use this. I find my market completely full of mutables constantly that don't sell fast enough and have to pay for the vault fee to store other mutes I find that will sell. There are some lowish EE items I find that I know someone may eventually buy for a few FG, but I prefer to shrine them since they would take up one of the spots for mutables that sell much quicker. So, if I could buy extra spots I would and start listing those low ee items or low stat items that I would shrine otherwise because the turnaround time for those items is so slow. This would help populate the market with cheap items for new players that wouldn't be there otherwise at least in my part where I find my MP to be consistently full with items waiting to be placed in my vault. I guess, most people probably don't and as a result this feature may not get universal use.

My vote is yes and the monthly fee would be fine with me. I'd be willing to pay what the vault currently costs per item or maybe even a bit more.

For context, these are my transactions this month: Total Transactions: 1166 basically all from selling <5 FG items on the market and that's with me shrining a ton of other items that sell too slow for me to consider having them clog up my MP space. Right now my MP is full and I have >50 items in my vault ready to be placed.

Well I wasn't meaning I'm concerned if jsp gets their cut, just that THEY might be; but I wasn't factoring in how much they'd make from the monthly fee. You made some good points

Why? In what way will this affect you or the game negatively?

You don't even use the market <_<

Don't like the "Poll" list.

I voted "Bad Idea" (but that is not viable, the answer is no, it should NOT be added)

A Vault is renting space, a Marketplace is trying to sell your wares (goods) and the market fee is for Stall placement (basically a table at a Fare, or a carpark space in a Car Sales Fare etc)

You can NOT pay more for Stall Placement for the same wares other than getting your friend / relative to pay the same fee under their name... so you can NOT buy more Market space for yourself.

Basically, if it does NOT sell, then use it as a shrine of trash it like the rest instead of trying to suck the blood out of a stone.

Nearly voted undecided, but I'm quite decided. My vote is no, but I don't really think it's a bad idea.

This is a market-based game. imo anything that causes more tax/fee for using the market is bad. There are plenty of ways the market could be improved. But I don't see this as being it.

Voted Yes.

The reason is exactly the same than Arturo.

Anyway, that would be an option, so why vote no, that wouldn't change anything for those who wouldn't use that option.
