what are the criteria for saving? this is a relatively new thing right? so im assuming i just did something wrong?

It is only saved if you press logout after moving your windows. If you just refresh or close the page it won't save.

so if I had * saved* it before with a logout and then logged back in, then exited the window. the first save doesn't count anymore? I have to log out with the bottom right button each time before X'ing the window?

i'm not understanding this i hit log out and it still reset my cata

Talking about in beta? Don’t click logout.

If you set your positions and log out they get saved. If you go back in and move them around then refresh or close it then they should go back to how you had them when you saved them on logout.



That's still only in the beta and for your cata instances to save you don't have to logout it's automatic. If you logout then your game isn't actually saved there.

ah, so 1.31 and 1.32 are currently different in how they save? that is what you are telling me? ok. that makes more sense than the conflicting answers from respondents.

So in 1.31 logging out was required to save.

when you talking about the beta press ingame f5 (when i remember right)

Window position is saved the same way in both 1.31 and the beta 1.32. You have to place your windows how you like them and logout to save. That save is carried over each time you go into the game unless you logout again with different positions.

I mentioned the beta in reference to Trappin's post in which he mentioned that his cata's weren't saving. Saving of your cata and game instances currently only occurs in the beta
