Lag Spikes? - Topic

Ive already spoke with multiple people on discord and the game is randomly freezing for 10-30s at a crack.

has snapped his rod 4x times.

Wasnt this the point of the 1006??? I almost never drop but Ive been geting these lag spikes for the last 2 weeks.

Edit: Noticing that the forum is also delayed to load right now...

yay for finding a one in 1000 rod of 186 dura and snapping it down to 125, with fishing already being as fucked up beyond redemption as it is

When the game/forum has this delay, have you attempted to type a message in immediately in disc, see if it's grayed out/delayed as well?

If it is, then it's likely a cloudflare issue.

Have been having this issue since the new update. DC'd once a week if that before the update, and rarely ever lagged.

It feels like the types of lag Im getting would have previously been 1006's but now Im staying logged in until it goes away. Very disconcerting...

edit: since this rewrite all my experience exploring has been much smoother and no lags at all, my internet had a hiccup once, but nothing more than that.

I mean ordinarily I wouldnt post about lag spikes except 5 or 6 of us on discord all froze at the exact same time 3 times in less than 5 minutes. We werent all in the same game and definitely werent on the same network. I dont see an OS issue causing 6 people to freeze in sepate instances at the same time. Too much of a coincidence imo.

Idk about the whole "started happening 2 years ago"... Its been like the last month that I started getting screen freezing lag instead of just getting booted to the main page.
