+ % Heal Mastery Adds to the Enhanced Effect of any healing charms you use by the % listed.



So if i have a 100EE heal charm
and i have a 50% heal mastery item

is it basically a 150ee?

Heal Mastery got nerfed awhile ago... basically it no longer works that way.

From memory, you get better healing capacity as long as your intelligence stat is around the same amount.

It has been years since we last tested this, so hoping someone that does remember posts. But at the end of the day, intelligence is more beneficial than HM

EDIT: hence the reason why HM is classed as a fail drop like Vitality.

yah i remember this, i just didnt remember waht the nerf was.

so your 100ee charm will work like a 150ee charm --> 25% stronger heals


before the nerf the hm added the % to the healing power. so before the nerf you would have had a 50% stronger heal

That is correct ;)

100ee means double heal compared to no ee. (heal factor 2.0)
150ee means 2.5 times heal compared to no ee.

2.5/2.0 = 1.25 --> 25% more heal

7 years I believe, when Elemental Mastery's were introduced:

Doesn't that imply the same #'s he questioned? (other than Capped enhanced effect)

Capped EE for level 10 is 120%, so you are saying that if your charm has 50% EE, and you have 80% Heal Mastery, the maximum heal capacity is 120% ... so how does intelligence come into this?

yeah 10hm would be wasted for boosting the heal.

there are 2 factors for calculating dmg or heals.

1) ee (boosted with hm and profs up to the cap)

2) int (subtract 5int, then you get the int factor for your dmg/heals. for example: you have 125int. make it 120 --> factor of 2.2)

so your heal/dmg will be:

basic dmg/heal from portal * ee factor * int factor

(be sure to check this in game (this shows with profs) or at the forums (this shows without profs)

*before the update it didnt show the increased heal with hm. i didnt check it with the new update

it shows now with heal mastery
but yeah, it does not exceed the cap, so be careful

HM is actually a very usefull side mod for tanks, as heal mastery also affect heals you receive by other players

Reason i ask is because i had a armor for years and might be using it if i ever get to paladin.

lvl30 3x HM 3x Str

so wasnt sure if its useable


Angelic adamantium plate mail
Level Req: 35
Physical Defense: 30 to 90
Magical Defense: 0 to 15

+28 Strength
+28 Max Mana
+1 Life Regen
+30% Heal Mastery
