Just an idea I had. Gonna throw it out there. If you were running solo and you really want to finish that map but you always hit a trap door somewhere near there end, wouldn't it be nice to have /set easy 1 apply to trapdoors so they become disabled while you finish up the map :D ?

I know the pain of TD during catacomb run where it is nearly cleared (even to the 1-3 last unexplored squares) and you hit a TD. I still voted "No", it is just part of the game. Just my thought on it.

I love how people prefer to not have to option to hit trapdoors and instead prefer to suffer LMAO.

It's like when I made the suggestion. Who wants to see some postive changes to the game and more than half voted no. Like

Everyone so stubborn Oh well. Having more dynamics, QOL and functionality I guess is a bad thing lulz.

SO "it's just part of the game" is the best reason you can come up with for a no? Ok yeah I won't be bumping this one anymore :D . :rofl:

You don't need to bump the thread more as you stated in the quote, however, do you think Character Class like Rogue / Monk / Ninja innate abilities be negated because you are running a Barb, Fighter, Mage, Guardian, Samurai, Paladin, Warlock, Headhunter or Alchemist while using the /set easy 1 command? What makes a Rogue / Monk / Ninja solo climb so good is the fact they have that "innate TD detection" ability.

But, then you can look at it in another way, a new person or bufcore character is made, they initially start with the /set easy code and you can just run any and all feeder classes making Rogues redundant and just stick to the fucktard Barb / Fighter build.

Your call? what do you want to happen? make it easier and cancel out class innate abilities or what??? Come on... what are your thoughts now???

Can we vote to just scrap TDs all together because I’m 💯 on board with that plan. Switch all the TD detecting classes to spin detectors and call it a day.

I hate TDs, but they have their place. They provide dynamic to the game that adds little more complexity/difficulty to the game. By making TDs debatable you take that away and then completing mazes would be too easy. If you don't like going down TDs, play a Rogue or team up with someone who will play a TD detector.

If anything, I feel TDs should be harder to find, but then buff them. You could set certain parameters and if those parameters are met you could remove the lowest tier of items from dropping (i.e if your lvl 25 and fall through a TD mobs can no longer drop Tier I items and if you fall through more remove the next lowest Tier of items). Now obviously that would only be the case if your in a TD. Or possibly increase the chances of EPs when in a TD ( which would increase chances of better drops). Or increase prof gain. Or at the end of a TD maze your gauenteed a better map drop.


I voted No for this, but I feel TDs should be reworked.
