Suffusencing is the most useless skill in the game. It always has been, always will be ( even if this change happens ) and that's a fact.

Proof is everywhere, so there's no point in going too deep into it.

It's a skill that requires you to do or have access to all other skills combined, just so you can make use of it's extreme uselessness.

Long story short, there is no reason this skill should require essences, specially now with the transmuting changes, but even without them.

The only important question imo is how exactly can it be changed so that it stays "balanced".

If I had to think of something right now: make it a flat 10 - 100% bonus. Making it higher might be unbalanced, because you're almost never consistently using arcane+ essences anyway.

Open to other suggestions and thoughts, that was just on top of my head, thx!

I do suffusencing for my exp glyphs and my comfreys it's pretty awesome

same, its useful on everything : fish, glyphs and comfreys.

Riiiight…. it's very useful spending 200-300 hours doing a skill ( just to get to rank 20/25, not the mention higher ) that prerequires 1 million other things, just so you can suffuse those 10 pathetic comfreys you're gonna find in your life time of ladder slasher.

Besides the couple of hundred/thousand of glyhps you might be able to find that will actually be worth suffusencing, 99% of the prof you need to gain on this skill is made by you suffing fish.

You do realize that you have to spend 200+ hours just to hit rank 20 suffusencing, right? And at that point, the highest tier of fish/comfrey/glyph you could do is just V.

You also realize that you're spending 190 of these 200 hours using magical - angelic essences at best, because there is absolutely NO way you can get ahold of the 10s of thousands of angelic+ essences you'll need to hit rank 20.

Are you honestly telling me its useful to spend 99% of your time doing that skill upgrading fish with anywhere between 10 - 80% per fish, just so you can then be able suffuse those 50 glyphs/comfreys/whatevers that are actually worth it?

When it takes roughly 2 or 3 times longer to suffuse a single fish than to catch 3 new ones instead? AND on top of that you have to spend essences to do it AND they need to be high otherwise your benefit is absolutely nothing AND even if you do use high essences, they can still roll the minimum values?

Personally i enjoy the skill. Make your fish stacks even better

Cant cook without fish

Cant suffuce(I think?) without essences

Paul basically just made it so essences are now like fish and rank doesnt matter to use them, just create them(fish/essense)

It is fine like it is
You can hit rank 20 in about a day if you really want
You just need a few essences like 50k+ and same amount of fish
It also gives magical essences a use as lower levels are useless without suffusing

I don't skill... I have fished (which requires a rod) and I have cooked (requires fish), but none of those two(2) skills require an Essence... so how about adding another item like Fishing which uses a Rod... let us say a Kiln as an example for suffusencing?

Personally Suff skill sucks balls (if that is what you are into, then just vote No)
