Yea yea yea, I know it’s not a big deal. But I’ve been playing this game for a little over 6-months now (extremely casually).

Until a few days ago, I thought the only way to fish, cook, transmute etc was click click click click. I thought my finger would fall off and I hated it.

And then I learned you can just click and hold. Mind blown.

Now suddenly there is an entirely new aspect to the game, and one I greatly appreciate, especially as a mainly solo climber on a budget. I suddenly have things I enjoy doing while I regen in town. Or while I’m on work calls and am bored.

I don’t know if this was the intended functionality, or if it’s broken, or if holding is slower than rapid clicking or if it’s all the same. I don’t know if the hold strategy starts to fail at higher levels and rapid clicking is a must.

All I know is I learned something new, and I enjoy the game more.

Nice positive topic for a change, Good luck on the muting, although I think the fishing is more beneficial for soloers, for even 10 fish with 60 life then 120 once cooked is still 1200 life which is a 5th of a level 55-60 health bar in most cases.
It's also less spam clicking and more timed clicking for fishing/cooking

Hit 7 fire prof yesterday and had these fires less than a week.

It works on monsters, too (kind of). You only need to click on each monster once (not click and hold, but just click) and it will automatically attack him each second until he's dead.

Same speed for muting except for the very last tick (don’t ask me why) so keep holding

Don’t try to click and hold for glyphing or suffusencing though! That won’t end well. You can click and hold for fishing and cooking with success only when you become a master and the fish are really weak

Glad you found the best part of having to regen in town! I miss the days when I would get to skill my profs because of having to regen.........
