not sure if happens to everyone else but is a little annoying to have to readjust and save keyboard config every couple days, and also to readjust and organize items by lvl after they get scrambled every couple of days. is there a way to have them stay saved permanently until readjusted?

Simple answer is NO.

I can say this though, the first 8 slots do not get altered, in contrast to this, if you complete the "Maze" objective and gain 1 or 2 slots will be added to it, this applies to Treasure Pest objective. So, dependent on the total slots that you are available to hold items (i.e. 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12), will NOT re-adjust items in those slots.

Basically, anything above the maximum of 12 will re-adjust when using EES items.

EDIT: I chose #3... but I think maybe #2... basically, the only items that do NOT switch around is based on the how many items you can hold outside of EES items... example.. if you can hold 9 items out of 20, only the first 9 slots will NOT change the items that are stored there.

then im unlucky every couple days all the items on each of my mules get rearranged (doesn't matter if they only have 8 boxes or 8+ boxes). not a big deal but gets annoying on the mules with many items/slots.

How are you viewing them? if you are using Jsp, the order is based on weapons/armor/charms, but if you are taking more notice on LS itself, the first 8 slots won't change placement, I know this because the first 3 items I have on my characters when I am leveling them up are EES item (TIII+) and they have not switched order on a daily basis.

After your PM, I think you maybe re-ordering items while in LS by clicking the Arrow thing for Items... don't have an SS for explanation sorry.

This happens to me from time to time. I'll setup all of my items in order for a climb, then leave and not do anything, and come back and every item is jumbled up and not in place. This is on a lvl 1 char with no explore done.
