Casting allows for the use of 5 different charms and 3 different heal charms. Every other class has more options for weapons. In other words you spend hundreds of hours to get headhunter and you can only use axe type weapons.

It's about time headhunters could vary a bit.

Dual stat gear and axes still are more prevalent and do more damage and are just preferential. Having more options would be great for noobs and elite alike. Being able to vary would be so awesome. Having only axes as an option makes achieving headhunter feel less rewarding. Head hunter really could use some love.

tl;dr? Let headhunter use another type of heavy weapon or clubs. We all think it.

I actually think allowing them to use clubs would make clubs a viable, cheaper option and would allow more build diversity.

I support HHs using Clubs

I've been saying this forever.

Even though I barely slash anymore - I do agree with you, Dan.

I've always supported the idea of HHs using clubs, especially since for whatever reason I remember the HH from the first remake holding a club with skulls on it or something

Yeah. I've heard it time and time again from so many different people throughout the years. It always seems to come up when talking bout ladder slasher. Headhunters should be able to use clubs.

Clubs would not be a viable cheaper option but just get almost as expensive as axes while axes would become alot cheaper.

Disagree, Axes are far superior in every way to clubs, so they would retain more value than clubs by a long shot. They would lose some value however as they wouldn't be the ONLY option for that character type.

The biggest point by far about weapons is which classes can use them.

Let dagger and clubs swap classes so they will swap value.

Sure axes have double stat gear and do more crits but also have a lower base dmg gain for stats than clubs

Yes I get it. You don't want your axes to devalue. Adding clubs doesn't decrease value of axes. THey're still superior and will always be sought out on the elite players. They also scale with dex and strength and crit a hell of a lot more.

Also you have charms with over 100 stats. There are no charms with 100 str. That means you're getting even more crit potential out of those charms and more EE which easily makes up for the poorer ee scaling. There's no comparing axes and clubs. Axes are far superior.

Here's your club and axe prof:

0 (6.30%) club
29 (10.85%) axe

Clubs don't crit period. It's 1 in a 100. Axes crit 1 in 5 or 1 in 10. There's an absurd difference. Trust me. Your axes will still maintain their value.

New players always buy swords too. Clubs are obsolete and aren't even findable anymore. At any given time there are 3 sword sets for trade. How many club sets are out there ft?
