I'm just a solo slasher that casually plays for fun when I'm not playing Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 2 or Diablo 3.

So racking up a lot of kills isn't as easy for me to do like it may be for others working as a group and guild. I have to work hard for every ladder slasher kill that I amass. So basically my Guardian with 10,106 kills suffered her first death which greatly disappointed me. I know it's only softcore and not hardcore that I play, but that one death definitely ruined all of my excitement and it made me feel like I have to start over.

I already removed my best items from my Guardian and gave them to my Barbarian.

So a few days ago I started up a new Barbarian named Sorsha. She's currently level 46 with 2,035 kills.
My question is how long until Sorsha will display on the top left of my profile. Replacing my Guardian?

I just don't like to glance at my profile and seeing that 1 Death time after time. It makes me relive that same negative emotion.

Do I have to delete my Guardian altogether? I assume that will instantly show Sorsha as my current character being played.

The character that shows up in ur profile is the highest class that you have, but in this case you only have feeders, so it goes by the levels instead
so once you have reached more experience than that guardian your new character will pop up instead

Let's say if you mq the barb and pass to sammy, that will always show up there.
If you fail tho, u still need to reach lvl 58+ to make it visable again

edit#2

If you want you could save the guardian up at lvl 55+ just to keep it as a mule, sure might be a bit harder to find extra equipment slots for a guardian, but at least it's something :)

Thank you for the help. I guess I'll be patient and just keep leveling up my Barbarian until she passes my Guardian.
Dying as a solo ladder slasher player is so embarrassing. I could have avoided the death is the most frustrating part!
And even dying the way I did I still feel like I left the catacombs in time. I also killed the monster. We both died...
Honestly, I still feel like I didn't die. It didn't even seem real. I had to double check my death count to make sure.

Shit happens, playing as a barb must be alot faster for you, so you'll beat the guard in notime! :)

That's true. I was making a unique hybrid warhammer and healer on my Guardian. The Barbarian packs a better punch anyway. I feel more comfortable.

yeah, retribution is a strong abilitiy aswell, so is powerstrike if u wanna use one of the fighter abilities, but it might be a bit slow to use powerstrike using a heavy weapon, because of the slow chargerate

I'm looking at ur character, and personally i would probably try to go for a tad bit more vita (higher lifepool + faster regen) maybe push it up to 75

You're looking at Sorsha my Barbarian right? I have equipped the best melee items that I have on her.
I like to aim for raw power and damage. High strength. You're right though. I have overlooked vitality.
That's probably why I died on my Guardian. I got into a melee mindset and wasn't healing myself.
