so ive noticed an increased amount of random drops while mainly solo on HC slasher. ive read in other posts that its the same on sc.

so far this morning ive been disconnected 4 times in the span of 35 minutes, so i decided to ping the server, and multiple other servers (for different sites). i had no packet loss or lag issues on any other site. i ran a series of 10 server pings each. jsp had a packet loss ratio of 1 packet out of the 4; 6 out of the 10 pings resulted in this packet loss.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ping ladderslasher.d2jsp.org

Pinging ladderslasher.d2jsp.org [104.20.30.155] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 104.20.30.155: bytes=32 time=11ms TTL=58
Reply from 104.20.30.155: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=58

Ping statistics for 104.20.30.155:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 3, Lost = 1 (25% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 11ms, Maximum = 13ms, Average = 11ms

ping latency is also pretty high for my connection, other sites averaged 3-5ms latency.

is this possibly a lack of maintenance issue? cloudflare?

i am almost to the point i do not want to play LS on HC because of this continuous lag, kicks to town due to lag inactivity, kicks off of the entire server to the log in screen. its just getting too risky to play and have the higher potential to loose everything i have invested in gear (which isnt the greatest, but decent for hc).

anyone else have a high latency, packet loss? periodic lag with only jsp?

11 ms is a very low latency, I personally can't get any lower than 30 when connecting. When it comes to the disconnects this is unfortunately out of our control and is a known issue with using web sockets through Cloudflare. Many other applications such as discord also suffer from this exact same issue however they were designed with this in mind and gracefully reconnect in the background without you even knowing. Ladder Slasher was not build with this in mind as it never was an issue until we moved over to Cloudflare, it also isn't an easy fix.
