i've helped a heck of a lot of new players in the past and to be honest in this instance i don't know what to suggest, you're doing everything right.

getting a few pieces of life regen gear may also be of interest to decrease downtime.
but you've bought the right items, ee weapon, ee heavy armor and a strength charm. All of which are generally the first things I tell new players to do.
I will warn you now things will continue to get slower as the mobs will significantly get harder.
Whilst you're nearly half way in terms of level till 71 where you learn the mysteries of what the MQ is, in terms of time investment needed you're probably a tenth of the way there with minimal fg spending.
unfortunately i've recently moved on most of my extremely cheap gear to other new players. All i have left is really bad ~1 fg gear tbh.
If you're thinking of spending fg in the game, then you'll want to spend most of it on level 50-55 equipment, as 55 ro 71 will be by far the biggest slog of the run, getting a 100ee item here is the difference of taking 20 hours and 100 hours.
One last note, a bunch of items on the forums right now are obscenely overpriced including what i'd call new player gear.
I'm willing to help hunt for some items for you if the marketplace is filled with overpriced stuff also.
