I just started on d2jsp a month ago (i know im late lol) and see some players play ladder slasher..

I seen pictures of the game and i would like to make a character on the website how do i do this?

Are there certain guilds or groups with people who play this? Cause i think playing alone is not as fun lol

There are groups from time to time. Maximum and best is 5 people but smaller groups can work as well. You should try to get gear as soon as possible and try to join a ladder slasher guild.

Since you are a “wise old man” you should not be asking us for advice but instead we should be asking you....

If you plan to stick around in this game, be advised that you will be playing it alone until you find better equipment....but I’m sure your great wisdom has already told you that.

The fact is new accounts on d2jsp are always highly suspicious of being secondary accounts of other people who already use the site.

To answer your question, you'll need to do a decent amount of soloing to get to know the game and make some forum gold (hopefully from playing other gams as well like avabur, diablo II, etc.) so that you can buy some

decent items that will allow you to kill monsters in the mid and higher levels. You gotta get to level 71 on your first try but you'll figure it all out after that.

It's all relatively simple so if you have patience you'll be able to figure it out. This game is pretty fun and there's a lot more too it. There are lots of difference quests, items, spawnable things in the catacombs which if you find can keep you intrigued. Some people think it's dumb and others who actually play it love it. It's a relaxing game. A lot of people play it even though the community likes to be negative.

competitive games now so it's good to take a break from all that. You can also play this solo in between other games for fun, keeps you occupied. Good luck and see you around.

Also wanted to add that you can also play this on your phone. (To my knowledge this is the best game to get fg on a phone game).

Other than the information posted already, you can get an indication of playing the game solo by reading what these Bufcore players are doing. Bufcore is solo playing on Hardcore and ONLY using gear they find along the way... I just linked starting at page 20 so you did not have to read every post.
