i believe it's a known bug where you manage to click it but officially it's already gone. The game can't give you the item as it no longer exists but can't remove the image as it can't give it to you so it forever counts down.

I think what happens is . Simone clicks but leaves game so it stays

Yes, this is what happens, when someone clicks the items and either DC or leaves the game
It will make each item he clicked like that

The only way to get rid of the counters is to actually leave the catacomb urself.

I like this thing. It's funny and all you have to do is go to town and go back if you want to get rid of it.
