All I've done so far:

-Kill things (Mobs rarely ever appear in groups larger than 3)
-Travel the entire maze time and time again
-Heal myself with the shrine by sacrificing lower tier items than what I am currently using (Tier 4)

Not sure how to expand my horizons on this game, but I do love the feel of it. At what level did things start to "click" for you? =)

No. You pretty much got it.

Very simple. Just attack and kill and try not to die and work your way up to the elusive pink unicorn, the final master quest.

Haha awesome! I am not one to read lengthy guides/walkthroughs, so I am wondering - will the Master Quests present themselves the same way objectives do: simply by stumbling onto them while grazing the catacombs?

When you got back to town at level 71 you'll see an icon for MQ, for Samurai it will be at 73, Paladin at 75 etc.

Yes. You will definitely know it when you see it. It's unlike any other aspect of this game.

So, just grind til 71, then MQ's! Boom shakalaka.

Just have fun. Grinding the first mq is one of the best ways to decide if you are in for the long haul.

It's very rewarding to do it under your own power.

Yeah, that's one thing about this game that reeled me in much like D2 back in the day: solo grinding actually gives you a sense of purpose, as you are uncovering a puzzle while training your char.

So far, I've sunk 95% of my points into dexterity. Curious how that will play out for me as a Fighter!

Either Dexterity or Strength depends on the weapons you are using.

Getting some fg sorted then I will grab some of that low cost gear. For now I am doing okay! Only 2 deaths so far that were both my fault (spaced out) lol
