Does the quality of the stuff you get from a well dependent on any other factors?

So if I want a well, should I use a low level map? I'm 78 so screw looking for one at my level.

Yes. You can use a low level map. doesn't affect the drops. The quality of your map itSelf does modify the map drops, but if you find on a lvl1 then switch it it will drop regular drops for that level of well mob

I have found low level wells degrade faster, could be rng but thats my experience.

This has to be right. The only thing that we can agree matters for sure, is that doing them at the right level will give you more side drops. Everything else is speculations and is most likely random. Map mods should affect the wells ofc, although it's hard to be 100% certain.

I've noticed that sometimes when I'm welling I find a lot more side drops and items with higher mods than other times, when it's exactly the same situation, but it has to be rng.

I've also done solo climbs where I find 0 - 5 55s for the whole climb and really low mod items in general, and others where I find like 20+ with a good amount of arcane + items.

We can't be sure if all mazes are created equally either, maybe some of them give you better drops for some reason. But it's a lot more likely that it's just random.

does a map with Monster difficulty and a +well increase the difficulty of the well monster you spawn then?

What about the whole evil well vs normal well? Or what ever... I know there is some well announcement variance. Or it used to be? Or they appear on map vs don’t?

Yes. It modifies, but according to the B it doesn't seem to have as huge as effect as it should. Could be because the well mob calculator is different.
