If a person buys a item and cares to relist it much higher and then just pay the fee to purchase it again it will then seem that the last sale price was higher then it is in truth.

Just found this out.
Not a big deal or anything just wanted to inform.

no exploit at all
it will always cost the fee and item prices are depended on current market and mostly not historic value

This is very sound reasoning.
Thanks for reply.

Really, people have some kind of obsession with an item being worth what was paid. History should not have anything to do with value.

I used to have a 96 ee lvl 10 axe and a 97 ee lvl 10 axe both with no useful side mods. During the same time period I was getting solid offers for the 96 ee and not the 97 ee, and I didn't find out why until I checked their histories. The 97 ee had historically been sold for 1 - 19.98 fg throughout it's history with one sale for 50 fg while the 96 ee had a history mainly made of 250 - 500 fg sales.

says the guy with over a million fg

I find it funny that people worry about the histories so much. So many trades have been conducted as pack deals, vault transfers (no record), or fee dodging. The history is not to be considered an actual representation of all transactions in the past..
