Spun onto a well, moved 4 squares onto another well

Blue Moon moment and Murphy moment combined. (guessing you ran out of wellable items)

I had a map with 4 wells within 10 steps of each other but none lasted more than 5 items

I gave the first well to swimnz he used vault full of whites + 3 chars full + bought off market, never broke it, second well was never used lol
