1.30 update:

Jubilance now gives +Experience every time you hit a monster, calculated as roughly Jubilance * Monster Difficulty %

Heard that %xp gain wasn't as effective in group runs as before, so the question is, does %xp gain increase Jubilance effect?

Based on the wording, I would assume NO, since it is multiplied by Monster Difficulty %... I just don't get the point of using "roughly" in the description.

EDIT: If my assumption is correct based on the description, this would mean that Jubilance could be the new XP gain mod used when exploring catacombs & maps... whistling will give a little gain, but not as much.

% xp gain is still working as intended currently and as in the past it only really benefits the group if the driver is the one to be buffed by it and you are exploring. The reason for this is you do not catch up to the driver while whistling but do during explore runs. This means that most times there would be no real benefit from overloading xp gain on the driver and sacrificing damage gear due to primarily whistle climbs. However in the event the driver of an explore climb has a bunch of xp gain then all other characters will level faster as a result.

From what I can see Jub is still not as good as XP for drivers on explore and would yield the same no benefit for whistle climbs due to not catching up to the driver.

Would be nice to know the outcome of say:

Weapon with High EE (int for caster) + jub vs +xp gain
Armor with High EE (stat for non tanker) + jub vs +xp gain
Main Charm with High EE (stat for melee) + jub vs +xp gain
