Re-introduce "Trapped Treasure Chest" and "Randomly Fish Monster" add this to "Enigmatic Emblem Trap"

Random monster(s) appear from the Treasure Chest (Rarely)
Random monster(s) are fished up from the Evil Well (not Pool, and maybe more Prof gain added)
Random monster(s) appear when you click Enigmatc Emblem (Rarely)

I miss those days, of course the drops are from the monsters that are spawned, they can be either normal or evil presence.

I would not mind having these back, but I would also like the mobs/chests to be CAPPED on their drops. Minimum is 15 levels (or 3 tiers) below your level. So if you are 55, you are not getting goddamn tier 1-3 which just waste e-space and server bandwidth.

I like that idea, then when they rarely spawn, you have a chance of a decent item on top of gaining Prof & Experience points from killing the monster(s)

You weren't around when Monsters spawned from a TC or when Fishing, so how can you say it is pointless when it use to exist?

Yes for chests/totems
No for fishing

I dont wanna see any more high lvl fishers die from something stupid. Accidentally killing safmy's lvl 1 skill made me feel terrible :( I could only imagine someone coming back accidentally fishing a lvl 20+ on a lvl 1

The chests spawning mobs just makes sense. Trapped chests should have even better rewards and only open after killing the mobs. The mobs should also be EPs to supplement the chests rewards :) if you are exploring and you are trying to fight so i see no problem with more spawns.

See your point with low level characters fishing to their Fishing Rank and monster(s) are way higher.
Maybe a random item instead as you suggested.

When this was last active, didn't the mob spawn at your current level? If so the only issue with this would be if they joined a public or g/o well game where other players were higher levels.

I believe you are correct... I believe it is more for those that have created a group game to fish from the same Well, different level people, leader accidentally presses T and anything go wrong happens. It can definitely happen with open group (upped level) games are created and anyone can enter at higher levels.

Im fairly certain the monster corresponded to the level fish you were catching. I am not high enough to say for sure but when the trash items dropped occasionally I KNOW those were tied to the lvl u were fishing.
