Suffusencing is good for glyphs only, so if you havent got a high glyph level, there's no point getting suffusencing. it basically adds EE to comfreys fish and glyphs at the cost of an essence
Transmuting allows rerolls. However you need tier 3 to even begin doing anything worthwhile, you "might" get 1 or 2 items for tier 2 worth 10-100 fg. If it's 1 hour per 1k exp, you'll need to spend 45 hours to reach. Even then tier 3's arn't really worthwhile either. This is excluding the time spent to locate the correct items to mute.
Glyphing is OK even at low levels. Tier 1's with 5 strength/dex/int or 1 magic luck can be glyphed for a 5 minute boost. Not totally worth it, tier 2 is good whilst when you reach tier 3 they begin getting very good, gives a use to all those stupid +15 strength/dex weapons as a 15 minute boost.
To clarify, you get exactly what the item stats are, so a tier 1 charm with 5 strength will make a 5 minute glyph with 5 strength(5 minutes per tier level), you can then combine then if you want, for self use it's usually better to just use them uncombined.
Fishing stats off OK also at low levels, you don't necessarily need a rod, although using one with 20+ durability will increase success to ~90% till you reach 5 proficiency. Fish heal life or mana or both. Life ones are more common and usually iso'd by the community more often.
Cooking allows upto doubling the fishes stat.
So: Quick results:
Glyphing/Fishing
If you're willing to spend 1000+ hours on it:
Transmuting
If you reach proficiency 10-15 in glyphing:
Suffucensing can start being ok.
