actually it is not, concidering you get 50% of rank 1 in a group whistle climb(without any quickdraw), that means it takes 2 + 4 + 8 whistle climbs to get rank 3
and you solo a bit i asume, and mostlikely also explore atleast from 55+ in groups = higher prof gain. very easy
But overall, you are just handicapping your group, unless you got some sweet QD from gear or glyphs
funny how you hardcore players think that everything u do is so damn skill based and softcore players cant grasp the skill you use. lmao.. i must admit, you guys are good entertainment tho
when i say you guys, i mainly mean you and cheeya, cuz you are the only ones i see publicly trying to shame softcore.
I solo, I one(1) hit kill from level 1 to 30 (and on occasions 1 hit kill from there to 75), so, I either gain 1 prof point, or NONE.
My post was in reflection of the AMOUNT of prof points required to get per Rank.
Rank 1 = 1000 prof points, then multiply that by 16 characters = 16,000 prof points.
Rank 2 = 2000 prof points (not including the previous 1000), then multiplied by 16 characters = 32,000 prof points.
Rank 3 = 3000 prof points (not including the previous 3000), then multiplied by 16 characters = 48,000 prof points.
etc
Back to 1 hit killing, you need to kill a maximum of 100 monsters to gain a level (1% experience gain on XP Bar), but this can also be reduced because some monsters that are 1 hit killed give 2% experience gain on the XP bar. So... I have a chance of gaining either 0 prof points or 1 prof point per kill, so, I have a chance to gain 0-100 prof points per level. To make this even worse, I also Heal myself during my runs, so if I gain a prof point from healing, it reduces the prof point gained for the weapon.
Each wave you have a maximum of 10 prof points, and since I solo, I am only encountering from 1-3 monsters per wave, so the only chances to gain more than 3 prof points per wave is when encountering Evil Presence where in most cases I have more actions, but, if 10 of those actions are healing, I only have a chance of gaining 0-2 prof points for my heavy weapon.
There are different factors to gaining prof points per situation, no dispute, but you forget the mechanics of the game, the maximum number of prof points gained per wave is 10. Refer to your guild for more information about this, they will say the same thing as I have mentioned.
There is no difference in cores... get that into your head, you are butt hurt about this in each post you make... Hardcore this / Softcore that... what is your problem?
EDIT: tl;dr ... research more.
