ive completed the maze but the objective still shows as available whats the story here

In your character. If you look under objectives when you press "C" you'll see that you already completed that quest. Finishing a maze is good anyway cuz you have a chance at some cool maps. You must have done it in the early levels already.

this plus its your first climb on that char

only 2 monsters will spawn on every mob while solo. so is impossible to get pinch of evil or hack the horde without being in a group

Not 100% sure, but, I think he can use the /set easy 0 to make 1-3 normal monsters spawn as well as 1-3 evil presence solo climb.

/set easy 0 = deactivates easy mode
/set easy 1 = activates easy mode
