Much has changed since I last played. Both in terms of drops and gameplay wise.

Im thinking of making a dedicated weller mage to make use of magic luck.

Is it still a thing? Any tips on how to make the best of it? What level etc.

Wells disappear, this maybe an issue to your idea, unless you have another person that can keep the game open for you welling mage.

Maybe level 60 mage and just well items to MQ from there, of course only doing 35-55 items, anything less done on climbing characters.

Just my 2 cents if you want to test it out.

I see that wells disappear now but still I'd like to try out gearing up on ML and welling on a mage. Seems like the easiest solution if you wanna stack ML since you can dmg with acc. slot.

Its been ages since I last played a caster. Not sure what to stat on a mage who will be welling. 20 int seems too low for welling so maybe 40-50 points in vita?

Welling with ML might be worth it in the long run... but

40-50 vit probably to low... since you only use a Heal charm with low ee / int ( + ml ) ... and you dont wanna spam Fishs / Compfreys with 1-2k life per use




i personal well from lvl 30-70 and well Lvl 15-55 items ( and buy from time to time lvl 25+ items from mp )

i've had a few messages asking me to hold a well whilst someone is climbing with their main char and they come across and well so they can switch to their well character.

My best drops this season have been from wells.


seeing the level of the mob is based on the item, not the character level of welling, 45~50 vita should be plenty even for 55 items when using a 65+ character. Could probably get away with less if you use 75+
