Old time returning LS player here. Im looking to get back into LS playing casually on HC (might consider SC in the future)

I've been out of the loop for about 7 years so I'm sure much has changed since then.

Are there any guilds active in HC? It seems pretty dead judging by my recent solo climb in cata (not a single person joined)

Could you perhaps point me in the direction of where to apply to guilds that are active in LS?

OP is the only really active HC guild left at this time. Not much in the way of players on HC. If you want to climb all the time you would be best to play SC.

Is HC really that dead? I mean if there is so few players in HC it will be impossible to sell potential nice drops.

How is the community on SC? Any way to see active slashers? I seem to remember that feature from long ago.

SC is highly active with a reset happening every 1-4 months on average. Drops on SC will definitely net more overall than HC due to the number of players there. To put it in perspective... there are probably less than 10-15 people on HC total that play weekly while SC has groups daily.

Oh wow thats way less than when I was playing..

Perhaps I should look into my gear on SC

unfortunately no

HC seemed to be more active this month than in the past. I don’t play HC but I seen a lot more activity via other ways.

SC has groups up constantly, though sometimes they are hard to get into.

I recommend labyrinth guild. You can apply else where but that guild is easy to get into and always happy to see slashers

Edit: also if hardcore is what you enjoy then don’t stop doing what you enjoy.

i think there are a few hc players in each of the active guilds. labyrinth is a good guild to look at.

There are a couple in mine (myself being most active)
There are quite a few in OP
There are a couple in silence but not many any more
There are one or two in EE
There are a couple in Labby
There are a couple in drunken slashers


That pretty much covers the guilds. Only OP is really able to consider g/o climbs and not very often at that.

SC is likely your best bet if you want to play with other people more often than solo...
